First Annual Kan Drive

ReKon Productions has always called the Westside home. From Stanford Street to Barrington to Sepulveda Boulevard, we have had the privilege of being a part of and benefiting from the communities of Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, and Culver City. This November, ReKon is teaming up with Westside Food Bank and hosting our very first annual KAN DRIVE!

ReKon will be collecting non-perishable foods for the next couple of weeks from November 8th to November 23rd.  Collection boxes will be set up in the lobby and kitchen of ReKon Headquarters and donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

WHAT TO DONATE:

CANS of: Tuna, Vegetables, Soup, Fruit, Fruit Juice, Pork, Beans, Stews & Other Meats.

PACKAGED FOODS: Pasta, Lentils, Pinto & Other Beans, Macaroni & Cheese, Packaged Dinners, Instant Soups, Hot and Cold Cereals, Peanut Butter, Other Nut Butters, Nutritional Bars.

Westside Food Bank is a local non-profit corporation working to supply food to the food assistance programs of social service agencies in Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, West Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Inglewood and the LAX area. As a proud member of the Westside Shelter & Hunger Coalition, Westside Food Bank is committed to ending local hunger and homelessness through service coordination, public education, and advocacy.

We invite our communities – filmmakers & neighbors – to join us in giving back.

For our filmmakers, we extend our gratitude for your generosity to our local community by offering limited time discounts on rentals and studio bookings!

For every non-perishable item our filmmakers bring in receive a 1% discount up to 10% on all in-house equipment rentals.
