Catch A Wave With Hannah Pajo-Bickley

ReKon Intern

June 26, 2017

Growing up on the shores of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio, the vast body of water was always a place where Hannah could go for focus, inspiration, and to feel connected with the rest of the world. That and her desire to pursue acting made sense she would eventually end up in Southern California.

A packed car and cross-country road trip later, Hannah reached Azusa Pacific University where she majored in Theatre Arts. What started out as a performance focus quickly shifted as more directing opportunities came and her love for it blossomed. As much as Hannah loved theater, she really wanted to pursue the medium of film. So she added a screenwriting minor to work on mastering the art of visual storytelling. She graduated in 2014 and has stayed in southern California ever since, writing and directing her own short films in the midst of holding down day jobs (including but not limited to selling yoga pants and teaching filmmaking to high school students).

Currently, Hannah lives in Pasadena with her husband and rescue puppy Charlotte. Her time is filled with traveling, discovering new places to eat, reading, and anything Harry Potter. She is thrilled to be expanding her production knowledge now as a part of the Summer 2017 Act One Producing and Entertainment Executive Program and the ReKon intern team.
